Mercy Franklin cooked the clients Easter Sunday turkey dinner in their home on Contoyto Lake ,Nunivut while we were hunting muskox and wolf with her husband John and Sammy Kapolak.

Another mature tom about 135 -140 lbs that we treed a short distance down the same drainage from where we treed the big lion on the road 2 hours earlier!!!
I watched this 150lb tom go up a tree not 100 yards from where I had just turned the hounds out on his track.
When I took this photo he was less than 20 feet from the dogs and I in my FJ-40 Landcruiser parked on a main road in the Alberta Rockies.

"Nanook" the Great White Bear
A hard earned Trophy Mountain Lion treed in an old growth fir in the Southern Alberta foothills.
We knew by the track that it was a big mature male and when we saw him treed there was no questioning how big he was!
Nearly 80 miles out from land on a large piece of flo ice this big Polar Bear killed a walrus only moments before we came across it while walrus hunting in the Fox Basin Nunavut.
